It’s fair to state that this year, search engine optimization finally became a familiar expression used in marketing circles, and is now an everyday exercise employed by organizations wishing to boost their website’s rankings. Yet, just a couple of years ago, search engine optimization was frowned upon as a dark art. And now, how affairs have altered: now SEO involves a broader group of talents in ethical areas : content writing, campaigning for a website using social networks like Facebook and Twitter, and persuading others to link to your site (by composing fantastic or contentious content that wins links from other sites).

This is a bidding system where businesses bid a certain amount of money for each time the ad is clicked on. The amount you bid for counts on the keywords that trigger the displaying of your ad in the search engine results pages. Keywords are primary to the relevancy of the people that actually click on your ads, and so PPC is a wonderful way to find out the best keywords (the ones that make you sales) and which don’t. If you’re equipped with this data, you can then target those keywords in your SEO strategy too!
